MV Agusta F4CC dari Varese, Italia
The intensity of the Agusta machine also barked in the GP peak class 500 cc (now MotoGP). By flowing Agusta, Giacomo Agustini had the degree of the world champion totalling 9 successive times (1966-1974). The intensity again, the Italia racing driver in same time (only not many) also doubled his degree in the class 350 cc. Before with Agustini, Agusta has raged in the class 500 cc through the racing driver Mike Hailwood (the world champion 1962-1965) and J.Surtees from England (1958-1960). Nah, the presence F4CC this actually to recall the achievement and the Agusta glory in GP 500 cc. Attracted him, moge this was made by as many as 100 units was the elegant intrinsic object, and was done with the hands with very carefully because used material that was expensive.
over fairing F4CC tersimpang the machine 4-cylinder, Only was not named kapaistas him. Wanted knew, how many of his maximum powers? MV Agusta claimed 200 mobile phones with the speed of the maximum 312 km/the hour (Miles's 195). And the famous actor Bruce Wayne had driven F4 in the film that was starred in by him, The Dark Knight. Harley Davidson placed the interest in buying this Italia motor company, this month also. The circulating news, HD has prepared the budget of Rp 1.03 trillion. These HD tactics actually to facilitate his marketing road in Europe, at the same time jack up market him that this year experienced the decline. Spoke the competitor F4, in his country personally competed with Ducati Desmosedici RR and 1098R with control traction of electronics. His machine, konvigurasi V-twin was supported by Desmodromic Valve technology gear. outside from Italia, Germany that was represented by BMW put forward HP2 Sport. Same like the model 1098R, HP2 have an engine R1200S Boxer Twin that was very light.

2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle
Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"
Harley Davidson has introduced a new member of the V-Rod family, the V-Rod Muscle. The look is new with somewhat angular bodywork and exhaust pipes that exit on both sides of the bike.
The Revolution engine in the V-Rod is excellent but The Motor Company seems to be having a problem coming up with the right combination to attract a large numbers of buyers to the platform. I have a hunch they’ll get it right, eventually, maybe the Muscle will do it, maybe not. Time will tell.
From Harley Davidson:
With sculpted bodywork stretched taut over a powerful new physique, the 2009 VRSCF V-Rod Muscle rides its way onto the Power Cruiser scene with a broad-shouldered presence. Gaping air scoops, sweeping side-pipe exhaust and a huge rear tire spinning under a clean, clipped fender speak to a contemporary, urban sense of style and performance. The Muscle pushes the Harley-Davidson V-Rod platform into a new turf, where it aims to hold its ground.
VRSC Key Features
1250cc Revolution V-Twin: Standard on all 2009 VRSC models, the 60-degree Revolution 1250cc V-Twin is liquid-cooled and features Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), dual overhead cams, four-valve heads, and a five-speed transmission. The engine is rubber-mounted in a hydroformed steel perimeter frame. A shell covers the large-volume airbox located over the engine. A five-gallon fuel tank is located below the seat on all VRSC models. The engine is tuned to produce up to 125 hp at 8250 rpm and up to 85 ft-lbs. of torque at 7000 rpm.
Optional ABS: Each VRSC model is available with optional, factory-installed Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Designed to work in conjunction with high-performance Brembo triple-disc brakes, this is the most advanced braking system offered on any power cruiser. ABS is designed to help the rider maintain control during braking events, especially those that happen in less-than-optimal conditions. The components of the Harley-Davidson ABS have been designed and packaged to be virtually invisible, preserving the uncluttered styling of the area around the wheels. Unlike many motorcycle ABS, Harley-Davidson ABS is not a linked system, meaning the rider maintains full, independent control of both front and rear brakes.
New V-Rod Muscle
The wide, angular air-box cover and chopped tail section look as solid and smooth as billet and give the new V-Rod Muscle lines that are clean and powerful. The size of the massive 240 mm rear tire is accentuated by the new broad, clipped and clean rear fender. The combination stop/tail/turn LED light is tucked under the edge of the rear fender, and the side-mount license plate leaves the fender surface smooth and uncluttered. Front-end styling balances the rear, with a trimmed fender that’s blacked out behind satin-finished inverted forks and LED turn signals integrated into the mirror stems. The radiator shrouds are restyled and color-matched to the rest of the bodywork, while the new airbox side covers incorporate air scoop inlets covered with woven wire mesh. The silver five-spoke cast aluminum front and rear wheels are a new design for the V-Rod line.
A new deep seat holds the rider firmly in place against the thrust of the Revolution V-Twin engine. The Muscle features forward foot controls, and a new handlebar with internal wiring. The handlebar is 1.5-inch cast aluminum with tubular steel ends and integrated risers. Bold polished forged aluminum triple clamps secure the inverted forks and frame the distinctive V-Rod teardrop reflector optic headlamp, housed in a satin black bucket.
The long profile of a 34-degree fork rake is stretched visually by new “sidepipe” dual exhausts in satin chrome with fat, turn-out mufflers exiting behind the rear axle. The V-Rod Muscle is available in Vivid Black, Brilliant Silver, Dark Blue Denim and Red Hot Sunglo.

DUCATI 1098R SUPERBIKE 2008
BUILT TO WIN
The 1098 R is the ultimate Superbike. The most advanced, most powerful twin-cylinder motorcycle ever built. It is the product of a team of designers and engineers focussed on one objective only - to win.
The 'R' is a race bike, pure and simple. Its competition specification and superior components together with advanced electronics and race-proven chassis technology deliver a level of performance that empowers you with confidence and capability. On the road, it distinguishes you as a connoisseur of high-performance motorcycles. On the track it promotes you to a higher level of riding and closer to realising your dreams.
World Superbike rule changes mean that the road-going 'R' version is closer than ever to our factory race bike. The 1098 R is not a replica - it's the real deal. An incredible 180hp L-Twin Testastretta Evoluzione engine in a race-winning Trellis chassis set-up tips the scales at an unbelievably lightweight 165kg (364lbs) and comes with a race kit that introduces Ducati Corse's world championship winning traction control system.
Once again, Ducati raises the bar and sets the world standard for sport bikes while turning the heads and racing the hearts of enthusiasts throughout the world.
The 1098 R - Built to win.
A CULTURE OF WINNING
Ducati Superbikes, designed, engineered and built in Borgo Panigale, Bologna, have always represented the pinnacle of Ducati motorcycle technology and racing success. For Ducati, racing and winning are a way of life and a way of thinking for our designers, engineers and everyone at the factory. The unique engineering solutions they embrace are proven on the race track, where the only way to the winner's circle is with technical superiority and dependable performance.
The 1098 R is in form and function the culture and product of a company dedicated to engineering excellence and winning performance. Ducati have dominated World Superbike racing, winning 12 World Championships and taking the Manufacturers' title 14 times since 1990. Furthermore, Ducati have won more individual World Superbike races than all other manufacturers combined and have now proven its superiority by winning the 2007 MotoGP World Championship. The results speak for themselves.
1098 R TESTASTRETTA EVOLUZIONE POWER
The 1098 R engine represents the finest twin-cylinder technology in the world. It produces 180hp (132.4kW) at 9,750rpm and 99.1 lb-ft (13.7kgm) of brute torque at 7,750rpm in standard mode and an astonishing 186hp when using the supplied race kit (intended strictly for track use only).
The specification of this engine underlines its no-compromise race technology. To help contain the massive 'R' power output, the crankcases and cylinder heads have been sand-cast produced, a process that improves the molecular quality of the casting, increasing strength while ensuring that intricate shapes are achieved with absolute accuracy.
Confirming the 1098 R's race specification by minimising weight and increasing performance, the crankshaft connecting rods are made in titanium saving 130g over the stock 1098 rods while reducing their reciprocating forces and improving crankshaft acceleration. Cam belt covers moulded in carbon fibre and cam covers cast in magnesium alloy complete the lightweight package. The result is a weight saving of 5.6kg (12.34lbs) over the 999R engine and 2.2kg (4.8lbs) less than the 1098.
The increased capacity of 1198.4cc is the product of a larger bore and stroke of 106 x 67.9mm and is fed through four titanium valves per cylinder and compressed to a ratio of 12.8:1. The valves, which are chrome nitride coated, have been increased in diameter by approximately 5% to 44.3mm for the inlet and 36.2mm for the exhaust. They are actuated by rocker arms that are super-finished for reduced friction and fatigue, and double overhead camshafts with radical profiles that achieve approximately 16% more lift than the standard 1098.
These incredible valve performances are only possible because of Ducati's unique Desmodromic system, where valve closure is activated mechanically. At high rpm it would be almost impossible for the valve to follow the steep closure profile of the cam lobe if it were relying upon a normal valve spring, but with the Desmo system the valve is mechanically closed with the same accuracy as it is opened, enabling steep cam profiles and radical cam timings. This system is used on every single Ducati motorcycle including our world-beating Desmosedici MotoGP bike.
The pistons utilise the same design developed for the Desmosedici in the Ducati MotoGP program by using a distinctive double-ribbed undercrown to achieve high strength with minimal piston wall surface area and, therefore, less friction. In this way, the 106mm RR58 alloy components are able to operate reliably at high rpm while delivering incredible performance.
The 1098 R elliptical throttle bodies have been increased 6.5% in size compared to the 1098, a diameter now equal to 63.9mm. For the first time on a road-going Ducati, twin injectors are used on each cylinder.
The first centrally mounted injector feeds through a 4-hole nozzle while the second offset injector feeds through a 12-hole nozzle ensuring progressive and fluid power delivery throughout the rev-range. With this configuration the system has the capacity to provide much heavier fueling when used in competition.
The gearbox shares the same ratios as the 1098 and 1098 S, except for 3rd, 4th and 6th gear, which has a higher ratio so as to be able fully exploit the speed gained from the supplied race kit (for track use only) or additional performance modifications. Also with performance in mind and because of its high resistance to fatigue, the gears are machined from the same high-strength steel used in Ducati Corse race applications with 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gears being subjected to a shot-peening treatment that further ensures their strength and reduced fatigue. The dry, multiplate 'slipper' clutch reduces the destabilising effect of aggressive downshifting and helps provide the fine control required when used under extreme track conditions.
The 1098 R uses a 2-1-2 exhaust system in 52mm-57mm diameter tubing with a wall thickness of 0.8mm (.030in) and terminates with Ducati's trademark twin under-seat mufflers beautifully formed in super lightweight titanium and stainless steel.
1098 R ADVANCED CHASSIS
The 1098 R chassis and suspension components are the results of detailed study and a performance first priority approach to development. The goal was to achieve even more weight saving while building in strength and rigidity to manage the incredible power of the new 180hp engine. The result is an impressive 16kg (35lbs) overall vehicle weight reduction compared to the 999R and an impressive 6kg (13lbs) over the already lightweight 1098 S.
TRELLIS FRAME
Developed in cooperation with Ducati Corse, the 1098 R Trellis frame features main section tubes in ALS 450 with a diameter of 34mm and 1.5mm thickness. Race-proven with hundreds of victories, the Trellis design remains the chosen engineering solution by Ducati Corse and a feature of every Ducati motorcycle.
REAR SUSPENSION
Working together with the single-sided swingarm and an efficient linkage is a fully adjustable Öhlins shock. The TTXR uses twin tube technology and offers totally separate damping adjustment in compression and rebound. It uses experience gained in MotoGP to minimise friction and reduce the risk of cavitation under extreme conditions. A vitally important feature of the rear suspension system is the ability to adjust rear ride height independent of spring pre-load and other suspension settings, critical when seeking the perfect set-up for personal riding style or track conditions.
FRONT SUSPENSION
The fully adjustable 43mm Öhlins with low friction Titanium Nitride sliders feature radial Monobloc caliper mountings. The unique look of these mountings further endorses the no-compromise racing specification of the 1098 R. The Öhlins set-up offers superior road holding, delivers precise feedback, and helps every rider to be more confident and in control.
MONOBLOC CALIPERS
The 1098 is the first production street bike to use Brembo's Monobloc caliper racing technology. The M4-34 calipers are machined from a single piece of alloy, vs. the bolt-together construction of conventional calipers. The Monobloc design has much higher rigidity and resistance to distortion during extreme braking, and therefore gives a much more precise feel at the brake lever. The massive 330mm discs combined with Monobloc calipers achieve spectacular braking power. The use of Monobloc technology combined with the legendary stability of Ducati's Trellis frame and the 1098 R's lightweight 165kg (364lbs) now makes world championship level brake performance available for the road.
SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT WHEELS
One of the most effective ways to improve the handling and performance of a motorcycle is to reduce its unsprung weight by using superior lightweight wheels. The 1098 R uses lightweight Marchesini Y-shaped spoke wheels created from forged then machined alloy and finished in 'racing gold'. Both front and rear wheels achieve a lower moment of inertia and unsprung weight to enhance the 1098 R's change of direction and braking performance.
AERODYNAMIC BODYWORK
Carefully designed not only for aerodynamic efficiency but also to hug the sleek lines of the chassis, the 1098 R enables the rider to blend effortlessly into the race-oriented riding position. Great care has been taken in the design of the air supply ducts so to ensure efficient air-flow through radiator and oil coolers as well as provide ample air delivery to the airbox feeding the powerful Testastretta Evoluzione engine. Moulded in lightweight Terblend®, with the fairing belly-pan, tank lower side panels, seat assembly and front fender in carbon fibre, the bodywork's form becomes a considerable contributing factor to the overall performance of the machine.
RACING LIVERY
In true 'R' style, 1098 R comes with red bodywork complete with white background number plates on the tail section and nose fairing. The Trellis frame is also in red with the front and rear Marchesini wheels finished in 'racing gold', the same as the 2008 official factory Superbikes. The fairing belly-pan, front fender and side panels are left in a contrasting natural carbon fibre finish. Finally, the small red, white and green tricolore graphic, neatly shaped between the twin headlamps in the nose fairing, proudly underlines the Italian design, style and precision race engineering of this incredible motorcycle.
TRACTION CONTROL
For the first time ever on a production motorcycle, a true competition-level traction control system comes integrated into the 1098 R electronics as standard equipment. Activated by fitting the race kit ECU (designed to be used with the race mufflers and intended strictly for track use only), the Ducati Traction Control (DTC) system is accessible via the digital instrument display and offers eight levels of control.
The DTC is the same system developed and used by Ducati Corse for their world championship winning MotoGP and World Superbike projects and offers a choice of eight profiles developed by professional racers. Each profile has been programmed with a wheel-spin tolerance matched to progressive riding levels of skill and confidence from eight to one. Underlining the fact that this is a professional system intended strictly for track use only by competent riders, profile one has been developed by the official Ducati MotoGP test rider, Vittoriano Guareschi.
Choose the profile that best suits the track conditions and riding style and, upon activation, front and rear wheel sensors compare speed differential to sense when rear traction is being broken (wheel-spin). Using exactly the same software logic developed and used by Ducati Corse, instant electronic adjustment to the ignition advance or a pattern of 'spark cuts' initiates immediate control over power output so as to restore traction at the rear wheel before re-establishing normal power delivery. In this way, DTC provides an incredible advantage during mid-corner acceleration and reduces the risk of your lap ending in the gravel-trap!
DUCATI DATA ANALYSER (DDA)
The DDA package consists of a real analysis system for data gathered during rides or track sessions. The kit, normally used only on race bikes, enables riders to thoroughly analyse the performance of their Ducati and the effectiveness of their driving style.
The Ducati Data Analyser, which is standard equipment in this model, automatically records data from numerous channels, including distance travelled, laps and lap times, throttle opening and engine temperature. In addition, the DDA automatically calculates engine rpm and vehicle speed data so as to display gear selection as an additional channel of information. At the end of a ride or track session, up to 2 MB (approximately 3.5 hours) of data can be downloaded to your PC.
Data can be analysed in graphic form with options to zoom into detail of specific sections. For example, dragging a trace along a timeline to reveal individual values of the above listed channels enables the user to analyse performance in the same way as data technicians in factory teams.
The DDA package includes PC software, a USB-ready data retrieval card and an instruction manual.
RACING KIT
The 1098 R comes with a race kit (intended strictly for track use only) which boosts power output from 180 to approximately 186hp. The kit consists of a 102dB carbon fibre slip-on muffler kit by Termignoni and a dedicated ECU. The ECU not only has reconfigured mapping to suit the racing mufflers, but also initiates the system dialogue that controls the DTC (Ducati Traction Control) system. The 1098 R is the first ever production bike to be fitted with a true competition-level traction control.
ENGINEERED BY THE STOPWATCH
The Superbike family for 2008 features two important changes: the introduction of a mid-engine size version, the light and nimble 848, and an extreme 'racing' version for all those who demand the maximum performance, the 1098 R version that will take part in the 2008 World Superbike Championship.
The priority in every step of the 848 and 1098 development has been performance first. Every system, every detail and every component has been studied, pared down to its essence and performance increased to the maximum. If it didn't make our Superbike lighter, faster or deliver quicker lap times, it wasn't considered. The result: the 1098 is the most powerful twin-cylinder motorcycle in the world.
The 848 and 1098 are the lightest, fastest stopping, quickest lapping Ducati Superbikes in history. For the first time Ducati MotoGP and World Superbike technology have been combined to create premier sport bikes. The results are stunning.
DESIGNED BY THE RACETRACK
The look and stance of the 848 and 1098 were designed by the combination of race track technology, track-derived components and Ducati heritage. Their striking aerodynamic shape naturally embraces a riding position, configured by our racers and test riders for optimum speed and agility. The racing spirit takes form.
