The trailer had fifty or sixty inner tubes, a tool box and axle stands etc with half a dozen tyres on top. Luigi Borra aka "The Cannon Ball King". His act opened December 28, 1903 at the Hippodrome Theater in Liverpool.  His act consisted of juggling, hand balancing and balancing a cannon or a motorcycle at the end of a pole on his chin...Borra only wieghed  167lbs.  Via: USAWA

 

A dream in progress: amazing behind the scene photos from the Tucker Forums shows the creation of the 1967 concept, two-wheeled gyro-balanced Gyron 1. The Gyron's lead designer Alex Tremulis is seen sitting behind the wheel of the early bodywork construction.

We also to get to see the Gyron's early road tests showing its temporary "training wheels"
